Hi friends are Taylor welcome back to my channel I've gotten a few requests and questions about applying to my school which is the University of Florida, so I figured I would sit down today and talk to you about my application process and some tips I have for applying to us real quick before I start I want to remind you to subscribe to my channel in case you want to see any more videos about my life here at the University of Florida actually not here I'm actually not active right now I'm in Tampa for an internship, so that's why I'm in a completely different room if you want to see more about my process applying for internships and how I got where I am right now definitely let me know in the comments below I'd love to talk to you guys about that also I want to do a whole video kind of answering questions that you guys might have about you a four-disc college life in general so if you have any questions make sure to comment them down below I'm going to try to like accumulate them all and film a video pretty soon for you guys so let's just go ahead and start talking about the format of the application for OF it's pretty similar to every other college application it's going to ask you for your high school experiences your club your ores your GPA your test scores what you're looking for in a college all that jazz the first thing I've gotten questions about and the thing that I think people focus on the most happens to be test scores are important because everybody tells you it's the first thing that admissions advisors are going to look at to win looking over your application deciding if you're fit for a university and people have asked me what test scores do I need to get into us, and it's a very difficult question I can't answer it specific, but I did pull up on my handy-dandy laptop I have a sticker of daddy Fox right there our US president oh I hate myself anyway I pulled up the admissions requirements on OF's website and share those with you now if you go to just you FL admission is going to give you a lot of the information for freshman applicants, but I figured I would share with you anyway so here it gives me like a little map of what they are looking for in your application and titles do you have what it takes to be a gator it doesn't give you like a set final score for your SAT or a PT like you know how you get an accumulated score at the end for every different subject it's not on that is based on specific subjects so here it's telling me which is gone up since I applied in 2014, but it's saying that SVP marble needs to be a 500 and your SAT Math needs to be a 500, and then you're checking that a CT which I recommend being both that's what I did you need to have a 19 or higher an apt reading and a 19 or higher and ECT math those are what OF says is the minimum requirements however I don't know how accurate that really is because I have talked to people who have so many varying stories I personally will say that my test scores were not the...
